The SSGC gas schedule for winter 2026 has been announced, bringing new daily supply timings for domestic consumers in Sindh and Balochistan. Under the updated arrangement, households will receive gas during three fixed periods covering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The announcement was made on November 4, 2026, as the company moves to manage gas availability during the winter season.
The new timings are particularly important for families who depend on natural gas for everyday cooking. Consumers can now plan their meal preparation around the announced supply windows instead of expecting gas to remain available throughout the day.
New SSGC Gas Schedule for Winter 2026
According to the announcement, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has introduced three designated gas supply periods for domestic consumers.
Here are the announced timings:
| Meal | Gas Supply Timing |
|---|---|
| Breakfast | 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM |
| Lunch | 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM |
| Dinner | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM |
These three periods provide a combined scheduled supply window of eight hours per day. The remaining hours are outside the announced supply schedule, although actual availability may depend on local operating conditions.
The schedule applies to domestic consumers in Sindh and Balochistan and came into effect immediately following the announcement.
Why Has SSGC Introduced New Gas Timings?
Gas consumption generally increases during winter as households use more energy for cooking and other daily needs. At the same time, managing available gas supplies becomes more challenging when demand rises.
SSGC says the new arrangement follows government directives and is intended to prioritise domestic consumers during important cooking hours.
Rather than distributing gas without specific meal-time priorities, the company has designated periods when households can use the supply for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This approach is intended to help manage available resources and make domestic gas distribution more organised during the winter months.
Which Areas Are Covered by the New SSGC Schedule?
The announced winter schedule covers domestic consumers served by SSGC in:
- Sindh
- Balochistan
This includes households in major cities and other areas connected to the company’s distribution network.
Consumers should remember that the announcement relates to SSGC’s service areas. People living in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad generally fall under SNGPL rather than SSGC, so they should follow updates from their own gas utility.
How Can Families Manage Cooking Under the New Timings?
The revised supply periods may require some changes to everyday household routines. A little preparation can help families make better use of the available hours.
Here are some practical suggestions:
1. Prepare breakfast ingredients early
Wash vegetables, prepare dough and organise other ingredients before the morning supply period begins.
2. Plan lunch in advance
If possible, complete basic food preparation before noon so that the available gas hours can be used efficiently.
3. Prepare dinner ingredients beforehand
Keep the necessary ingredients ready before the evening supply window starts at 6:00 PM.
4. Avoid unnecessary gas usage
Turn off burners when they are not needed and check that cooking appliances are working properly.
5. Follow official announcements
Gas supply arrangements can be updated when operational requirements change. Consumers should check official SSGC announcements for the latest information.
What Should Consumers Do If Gas Is Not Available During Scheduled Hours?
Although SSGC has announced specific supply periods, individual households may still experience low pressure or interruptions.
If gas is unavailable during the announced hours, consumers should first check whether there is an official notice about maintenance, an emergency or a local supply issue.
They can also contact SSGC through its official customer support channels to report persistent problems or request information about their area.

Consumers should avoid relying on unverified social media messages, especially when different gas timings are being shared online.
Will the SSGC Gas Schedule Remain the Same Throughout Winter?
The announced timings provide the current schedule for domestic consumers, but customers should not assume that arrangements will remain unchanged for the entire winter.
Gas distribution companies may issue further instructions depending on supply conditions, operational requirements and government decisions.
For this reason, households should keep checking official announcements instead of relying on old schedules circulating online.
Any future change in the supply timings should be confirmed through SSGC’s official communication channels.
Final Words

The arrangement aims to prioritise household cooking needs during the winter season. Consumers should plan their daily routines accordingly and follow official updates in case the company announces any changes.
